Just got this raised yesterday. When finished it will have 5" poured concrete and 2" of flagstone. The railing are going to be steel with winding steel stairs.





It's true. There is no patio doors yet. The window at the center will be changed to a door.

I will post more pics as progress continues.

IS the upper story really half timbered, or is it just trimmed to look that way? From here it looks like boards fastened on the outside.

Way to bring the craft back into suburbia Thane. Looks awesome cool
As a freestanding deck and porches are my only option, how close are the posts/footings to the house? Are the plates cantilevered at all to keep the post footings far enough away from the house foundation?

Th foundation along the house is a sona tube cut in half and anchored to house foundation. The posts go against the wall. Also inside corner posts sit on quarter cut sona tube foundation.
