My server is so slow, vimeo videos don't play well at all. So I have to go to utube.
Same video, different link.

I don't get to Liberty Tool that much. But whenever I am in Bar Harbor I always stop into the other branch, Hulls Cove. The next thing is to catch them OPEN. The same selection of tools just not as big a place. A great place to find an axe for just about any purpose. You can actually spend hours in these places. About 50% of my tools come from Hulls Cove/Liberty Tool. It is a fun experience and should be tried in different seasons. If perusing this time of the year you want to be dress for the occasion, hat, gloves, warm boots and jacket, not a lot of heat. I purchased my first boring machine there, I still use it today.

Hi Tim,

Check out Robin Wood's Viking ship blog and scroll backwards to arrive at a section that deals with a variety of axes and hand planes employed on that project - I want one (or two)!

Regards

I wish Hulls Cove has some of those axes, but his tool collecting does not venture that far away. You can find many of the type of axe seen being used by the youngster with the gray hooded sweat shirt. Still a very useful and simple tool.

I will have to try one of the orange man figures.
