I would like to introduce a young musician out of Northern Illinois, and her name is Alison Coyer.

I first heard Alison play the hammered dulcimer a couple of years ago at the Franklin Grove Summer Harvest Festival. I was very impressed! And when Nicole and I were planning our wedding we tried to locate "that girl who plays really good" to ask her if she would entertain at the reception, which was celebrated in a 108 yr old round barn. We were unable to find her until a month after the wedding and I was given one of her cards.

Very interesting, like how a piano works, but more direct, and more tinney sounding. She's obviously very good. I bet Tommy Lee(Motley Crue drummer) couldn't do that!
