Hi all. The Year of Mud is hosting a 4 day Timber Frame Workshop to build a small pavilion for the Clear Creek Festival, outside of Berea, Kentucky this June during the summer solstice weekend.

Timber Frame Workshop Details:

-- Location: Southeast of Berea, Kentucky, home to Clear Creek Festival
-- All-inclusive: Workshop includes camping accommodations, and 3 square meals a day
-- Off-Grid Experience: Get a glimpse into off-grid living with a tour of the Clear Creek Festival grounds and the tiny solar-powered home of our hosts
Material selection, square rule layout, safe hand tool use, frame assembly, and raising techniques are a good sampling of the material we will cover in this hands-on course.
Especially great for folks with limited carpentry or timber framing experience who want to increase their exposure and proficiency with hand tool use, this workshop will definitely open the door to the many joys of timber framing.
