I am currently repairing our 1800 bank barn. We torn down a shed that previously was used as the bull pen. I am curious to know if the wood is of any value. I have about 10-15 planks that are 2" thick, 10-12inches wide and 10-12 feet long. I also have about 6 that are 6inches wide, 10 feet long. All are 2 inches thick.

K,
Your old wood may have some really great value and then again it may be a candidate for environmentally friendly disposal.
You need to find the answers to these question:
What species
What condition
Any evidence of insect problems ?
any evidence of rot ?
A local woodyard can help you price the sticks if indeed they have market value.
Some species, regardless of age will only bring current market value. Some species, like American chestnut for example, are worth a fortune.
Good luck
