Do to the traveling lifestyle i.e. working in many states, I have had difficulty with my workmans comp company. Has anyone else had this problem, and how has it been resolved?

As a self employed person with no employes, I am not required to cary workmans comp. on myself. I can buy it for myself (very expensive) but due to anti-fraud laws in IL. I can't file a claim, because I'm self employed! so why have it. I've not had any problems with my liability insurance working in different states. Tom

Although I am not required to carry comp either I have found that the people I work for really like that I have it. It makes the whole subcontract/employee debate go away with the gov and other ins companies.
