Can you please advise what is the proper forum for posting info on a non-guild sponsored seminar we are planning? Can you also provide info on how to go about getting the Guild to sponsor a seminar? Thanks for all of your help!

Joey:
Right here in this category is good enough, I think.
The guild puts out a project handbook, but this is more for having them get involved in creating a structure for say a non-profit organization, city, town or government facility, park or recreational site.

Thanks Jim:

We are planning a Basic Timber Framing Seminar to be held the week of 09/21/04 through 09/25/04 in Gilmer, Texas. We will have a nationally known instructor on site to provide instruction in basic joinery and square rule layout. The cost of the seminar includes lunch each day, and I will be providing breakfast for all involved each day. The cost of the seminar is $250.00 per person. If interested, please drop me a note at 877-815-2417, or 903-445-9350 (cell) or at my email address of joeylowe@loweco.com. Thanks and I look forward to hearing from some of you. By the way, we are limiting class size to just 10 people and we only have 5 seats available.
