Hello fello axe thowers! Recently there was a discussion regarding favorite broadaxes, adzes, etc., being used for hewing, but I can't find it. Anyone help me out? Or care to add on to this post?

Also, when you're looking at an axe with a left hand or right hand bevel, I assume that these designations are given with the axe in the user's hands at use.... That is, if I were comfortable hewing with the timber on my right side, the flat side of the axe would be on the right, thus creating a left bevel broadaxe??? Sorry, this could sound confusing.

Also, favorite weights of broadaxes???

What can I say. Doesn't even ring a bell. I was nine when the show was terminated. I lived in the country, and we had 'last choice' cable. Snow and news. So instead of watching TV, my brother and I used to sneak over to the school bus yard and jam dirt, potatoes, sticks and ? into the tailpipes of buses and watch them try and start in the morning.
