Hello Jim,

Curious if your boring machine bits are double-spurred, if so I'd be interested in a 2" and a
1 1/4". Just bought a boring machine up in exeter, NH I had my eye on for awhile and can't wait to try it out. I've also been roped into a demonstration in two weeks so I'd like to make this transaction this week if possible. Also curious, is it worth getting a bit just under 2" for a 2" pocket so as not to assail the score line or should I just act like a craftsman? Thanks, jeremy

"Personal tool sales OK, of course!"
My interpretation of this includes people who trade old tools as a hobby, like Jim.
Jim provides a service to framers (and collectors) who want to buy a solid old tool ready to use.
I am sure he does this more for the enjoyment (hobby) than the cash (commercial).
Joel, am I right here?

Pretty much, ok.

We're walking a fine line here, and I am about to set up seperate forums for 'for sale' and 'wanted to buy', just to make it all flow more clearly.

The Guild is not interested in providing advertising space for commercial vendors within these bulletin boards.

We are comfortable with one-time private placements and small-scale used tool stuff, though it will always remain a judgement call.
