I am available for design and engineering work. I work with autodesk arch. desktop in 3d, and have an extensive background and referral list. If any one needs help with their overflow design work get in touch okay.

What states are you certified to stamp drawings in?

If you can work with SIPS to I can get you some work

I plan to build a timber frame house in Lindrith, New Mexico. I see you are in New Mexico. I would like to talk to you off line about what services you can provide.

What does it cost to get plans drawn up for Timber Frame? I know it depends, but a rough estimate is appreciated..

Depends on who you get them from.....most architects that I know of charge a percentage of the project.....anywhere from 6% - 15% of the price of the project..... Not having any prior knowledge of how a timber frame home gets built doesn't seem to dissuade them for charging for their services either.... Not to mention the fact that their drawings may not be "stamped" engineered drawings which most metro or cities would require.... nor will their drawings provide the information that the SIPS guys are going to want....I wish I could get paid that much to not know what I am doing....LOL

We usually charge by the square foot and degree of difficulty....And we have actually built a house or two or three

Design charges are based on the clients needs and location. For instance full set of plans in California require a lot more work and calculations than say a timber frame in Texas. I can supply stamped engineered plans for all fifty states, and our complete set includes arch. plans, engineering, shop drawings for both timber and panel fabrication, along with heating, electrical, and plumbing plans. I have built over 100 timber frame structures, and designed well over three hundred.
