questions for SIPS users..
I'm looking to cover about 2200 sqft of roof with panels. The snowload in our area is 60lbs or 2.86kpa.
What have you used and would recommend? Polyurethane or EPS foam and what thickenss?
What do you pay for precut panels?
The whole SIPS scene is a little weak in my area whistle

kind thanks cool

Where are you? I saw recently at a timber &log show that there is a SIP available that is flame retardant or flame extinguishing. The foam itself is flame retardant. I'll have to look at home for the info. I've heard that traditional sips will burn. Apparently these newer sips have been on the market for about 6 years or so. I was also told that a 4 inch sips of the retardant material will replace a traditonal 6 incher and have the same R value for example.

I think this is it. It compares Polyurethane panels to EPS panels.

thanks for the link wink We'll have one or two steel chimneys going through the panels so the class 1 fire rating is a plus for sure
Indiana is a fair distance away, but hey, I've travelled further than that to save a few quidgringrin

Quid? I thought you confirmed you were in Canada, eh? Perhaps they have distribution up there? They probably ship all over the place. I didn't realize they were in Indiana. That's good for me living next door in Illinois if I buy them!
