Jim-

Thanks for your help. I will let you know after my class, what I decide to build first. I'm not sure what I will be comfortable with until after the class.

email me with what you have and what you would like to be compensated for them, unless your feeling generous and they are free!!

Bob:
I have been invited to come to the timber framing workshop that you're attending.
I'll be there Thursday afternoon.
We can discuss it then, in person.
And I'll send you an email as well.

Jim Rogers.

Whatever you do, have fun doing it!

I took a workshop with Mark Davidson, I learn a lot, and it was a lot of work. It took me all winter gathering tools. I just started building my little cabin (12x16), the floor is finished. But i didn't know you had to paint the ends of the timber.
I bought plans of e bay, but i change the plans every day.

What was the date of your course? I took one last year as well (I think it was around the end of April)

I think the course I took was in February. It was really cold (-20). In the barn it was probably -5. But it didn't take very long to work a sweat up.
