Hi,

I have been trying out Sketchup 7 and find that when I import some 3d models from another CAD programme that Sketchup shows a localised line thickening at joints, vertices and nodes. This localised thickening also shows when printing to Acrobat. How do I get rid of this ?

I also note that HELP is only available from an on line source and this is more than a little annoying because I do not as a matter of policy connect my work pc to the net. Am I simply missing a SketchUp help.dll file to be able to view this offline? Can someone send this to me ?

I'm guessing that the line and node thickness issue has something to do with the style settings. From the main menu, choose window|styles, and then select the edit tab. Click on the leftmost cube to bring up the "edge" settings, and experiment with those.

Regarding the help issue, I'm assuming this has something to do with Google's philosophy that "the network IS the computer". CB.
