We Just raised a frame in EWP. There is no finish and the surface is hand planed. After cleaning up the frame with a plane, my client wants to know how long till the patina blends in. The frame is enclosed, no longer exposed to the sun. The original planing took place within 2 to 4 weeks of the touch up planing. Any ideas on how long this process takes. Thanks Mike

Left on it's own out of the sun, many months.
Temperature and amabient humidity will have some effect.
The process can be slowed even more with a wiping oil but you have to buy the minor color change in the process.
work safe , have fun.
