Hello,

I am wondering if anyone knows how to import (if possible) sketchup files into 3d cadwork. There are a number of different file extensions in the "add file" menu in cadwork, but they all seem foreign to me.

I documented a good portion of my house in Sketchup a few years ago, and would like to be able to move into Cadwork. In the past couple of years I have gotten quite used to Cadwork and quite rusty in Sketchup.

If anyone out there might know of a direct or indirect solution I would be appreciative.

Mo

With the pro version of Skup you can export to DWG, DXF, 3DS, and a few others. Remember that this will come in as faces, not solids, so things could get messy.
