Thanks to those that attended the pre-con at 2009 Saratoga.

I'm working up a follow up document.
I'll finish up the model we started and post it and some notes to the site.

Thanks for having me!

Mike

I don't remember doing a course eval as Joel mentioned. I thought it went great. Though, I am experienced in other cad programs so I didn't have much trouble keeping up. Newbies to cad might have had some difficulty. That's to be expected, I would think from doing so much in one day. Hopefully they'll try and come here and ask when they get stuck.

Brad -

Not sure on the Eval, but I'm always open for critique - of my delivery or the content. It was a balance of keeping people moving but still covering content.

20 folks is the largest SketchUp class I've taught... normally we are at 12-15, much easier to get a flow going.

Something else that bogs us down is when folks show up with poor equipment choices. As far as I know an email or mailing was sent out with a 3 button mouse and a request to have the latest software version installed. Part of the learning curve with some folks was just figuring out how to draw with a touch pad!

But, in general I really enjoyed myself. If I could teach TF and / or SketchUp full time ... well ... I'd love it.

Hopefully my vocal speed and volume worked well for everyone...

Joel sent the conference evaluation survey around to everyone with e-mail last week.
