Hello! I am a young guy who has started my own timberframing company. I have recently been accepted for a home warrenty program, been accepted to the CHBA, and HPO. I build some of the nicest timberframe entries and upgrades on Vancouver Island. I specialize in the Asian influenced look and have been doing really well. I learned everything I know from the internest and books. I have never worked in a timberframers shop before. There was a course offered on one of the gulf islands around here for $3000, but I figured I could learn way more by investing that same $3000 into books/ tools.

I am looking for some secrets now. Fatser ways to gang cut, ways to clean up tennons, router table setups. This information is not availble in books. I am basicly looking for all the shortcuts you would typicly learn by working in a timberframe shop without actually having to work in one.

Any suggestions? Books or places I could go?

Thanks for your time!
