laugh I'm looking for folks here in the Kansas City, MO metro area who would be interested in doing some small TF projects together.

So far, I've had no success in finding others who are beginners like me with some construction/trade experience who'd be interested in teaming-up to build small structures for fun & practice.

If anyone from KCMO or vicinity is interested please contact me!

Thanks

I am from southern Ohio and have a similar problem. TF learning opportunities are few and far between. I was lucky to attend a TFG hosted workshop in Columbus last spring.

Seems like a "member map" would be helpful to gather those of similar interests and skills. I am aware of only 1 or 2 others within a 100 mile radius of Cincy. Maybe we just live in the wrong places!

Full fledged workshops can be intimidating, I think esp. for those getting started, or who can't afford the large $$$ outlays and/or a full 7 - 10 days of their time.

If you driving through Ohio, I've got a small project I could gladly use help with! Seriously I would glad to host something in my area - I've got two aging 70 foot white pines ready to go as possible donated workshop materials ;-)

Nice idea, KC.
