I'm sad to hear Cowls is closing down. I first bougt timbers from them in winter of 1990. I drove up there (2+ hrs) w my International 12' flatbed dump truck and picked up five 24' 6"x 8" pine timbers for top plates, tie beams and ridge for the Wong's TF addition in Pleasantville NY. I was driving home in snow turning to freezing rain. Sucessfully, and very satisfied doing business w Cowls.
It's been good to have their expertise and generosity for so many projects over the years w the TFG. I wish them good luck for the future.
