After drawing a tenon in beam A, I place the tenon in beam B and would like sketchup to carve out the mortise. Beam A and B are components and just can't figure out how to make this work using intersect. The sketchup tutorial doesn't seem to cover this case. I can switch to x-ray view and redraw all the edges and create the surfaces, but this is very tedious and time consuming. Is there a better way to do this?
