Cool work Mike. Are you using some special Ruby Script to develop those those pierced cubes, or drawing an arc, following around to make a cone and then rotating it in 6 axes and then intersecting with a cube - or ??

thanks chris. i have a few more 'sculptures' that i'm working on - similar concept - surfaces that wrap around themselves to become another shape.
i'm using a 'loft' type ruby script to create the first arc'd corner, then do some manual intersecting of 3 of them rotated about their centers to form a corner of a cube. then copy / rotate / mirror that around and intersect everything into 1 shape.

Hey Mike, Do you want me to quote per cube or per hour? My gouges are really sharp.

starting to play with rendering... very much a beginner at this. need to adjust materials (and find some good ones) - and play with how reflective certain finishes are. Going to play with all the demo render programs and probably buy something soon...
