I am a young carpenter who is very interested in getting into the Timber Framing world... I have looked around quite a bit at the different education options. I noticed that the American College of the Building Arts has a very attractive program, but I wanted to know how people in the industry felt about their program and the school in general. Is it worth the money? Do they have a good reputation in the timber framing community?

Dear traite,
The ACBA program is spectacular and the most comprehensive and intensive program you could find in traditional timber framing. There are shorter programs out there but none that will give you the depth that the ACBA program will, which includes work placement during the summers.
