Love 'em. No hoses to trip over and knot through trusses; no compressor to haul; no compressor noise.

Caveat: They don't work well under about 40 degrees F. Below freezing they don't really work at all.

othe disadvantage, they jam and clod real easy, and generally require a lot more maintenance than their air powered cousins.

We have paslodoe air nailers, and paslode gas nailers. We almost never use the gas nailers anymore...

Once upon a time, I was a huge fan of them, now i have cooled off considereably

I used my Paslode CF325 in extreme subzero weather for 4 hours a night for at least a week - drove 3" ring shank galvanized nails full depth no problem.

My biggest issue was bringing it inside too often, it would then get frosty and not want to load the next nail. I just left it outside after that. I did keep a spare fuel cell warm though - never needed it b/c of the cold. If working alone - I would not want an air nailer. If I had a crew or was part of one, then maybe. I'd say I have driven about 5-6000 nails at the minimum, and I just now had to clean it.

I am not a professional - I am a DIY'er doing a fairly large project. So, I know little about the Paslode CF325 over the long haul and daily abuse. That being said, everything local building pros have said to me: "you cant do that!" has been nothing but h0r$e 571T
