I have a couple of houses for next year which will require me to timber frame as well as act as general contractor on the job. I'd be framing, enclosing, and doing the siding/interior woodwork myself, as well as dealing with other contractors for all the things I don't want to do. I'm confident in my ability to do all that, but I'm a little unsure of the way one normally handles charging to oversee a project like this. I imagine I'm going to spend a fair bit of time on the phone and making sure things are done right, so I'd like to be worth it for me. Any suggestions (or warnings!) from your experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
