Hi everyone-

I need to fund a saw purchase, so I'm selling my Witherby Slick. It's a super thick 3" beauty, SHARP, CLEAN and ready to be productive NOW - it's a worker's slick, not just a collector's table piece!

Here's the specs

Width: 3"
Length to socket: 13"
Length of lamination remaining: 4 1/2"
Length to end of handle: 28"

It has a very slight belly along the edge(perpendicular to the handle) but is very flat parallel to its handle and has no roundover whatsoever.

I don't know the year, but it's laminated and the mark is still so clear! TH WITHERBY WARRANTED

Is $200 fair?

Thanks

Andy Skoglund

I'd say that was towards the top end of the range for a slick, from what I see for sale. Where are you located? Do you have photos? I have a really nice PS and W, but I wouldn't mind adding a Witherby.

It's towards the top ends of slicks, too Dave! I'm in MN and can email better/ more specific photos because I know what it's like to buy tools without holding them! Thanks for the interest.

Andy

Does it have a sweep from the cutting edge to the socket on the back? The back looks like it's in really good shape.

If I hold a straight edge on the edge, it's perfectly flat for about 3", then sweeps back to about a fat 1/8" back at the socket. It's pretty flat.
