hi all,
I am wondering if there are others who are playing minecraft?
And, if there is a multiplayer server that anyone can recommend that is more tailored to building challenging stuff.
Or just any server that you may be playing on....

It would be good to do some virtual building with timber framers, rather than crazy teens... although those crazy teens can often build very well thank you.
All the best of the season to everyone here as well.

I am not a minecraft player. But I do like to have some input beyond my typical daily routine. Advances in technology, even though I don't use as much technology as some, interest me all the same. Ray Kurtzwiel, futurist, is working on such things. Here is a link to a series of videos on that topic. Transhumanism, it is going to have to be brave new world. ( I also read the book recently) It is later in the series part 4 or so, in it, where there are computer generated block figures that think for themselves, their goal is to rule a single green block, eventually one block character learns to attack the others to defend the green block and retain domination over it. This happened without human programming? Anyway, I often wonder as I see my kids gaming evolve where all this could lead? Technology is exponentially expanding.
