For the timber frame traditionalist: octagonal peg blanks. Since some of you have your own preference as far as final peg shape is concerned (some taper, no taper, etc.), I've left that part up to you. 90% of the shaping is already done. All are riven from very straight-grained white oak butt logs, no root flair, then draw-knifed to a uniform octagonal. All are left a bit oversize (as they are green) and cut to exact length, 12" or 14". I have red oak octagonals, but only have 10" lengths left.

I can fit 60 - 1x12 blanks into one USPS flat-rate box @ $16.85 per box, shipped anywhere in U.S.

Prices are $1.50 each for 10", $1.80 for 12", and $2.00 for 14". Any diameter.

Thanks.
