hello everyone. i'm new to this site and have probably years of questions. from what i have read so far, i am at the right place. i have been building homes for 17+ years(typical frameing), and have built 6 log cabins from scratch. i would like to start building timber frames and log cabins full time including cutting everything at my property and moving it to the building site. i guess my first question is how does one get the word out for new customers. i would also like to build for another company while i am getting the right equipement built up to start on my own. is anyone from indiana and are you looking for help?! thanks in advance for any help.

To find other timber framers or other timber framing companies in your area, you can go to the "resource guide" and do a search.
To find the resource guide go to the home page and click on the resource guide icon, follow the links to the search page, and enter your state and timber framing companys and you should get a list of who's listed with the guild in your state.
Also, check with the timber framers business council and you might find some info there that will help you.
Good luck,
Jim Rogers
