Trying to find an article by Paul Russell in the March 1992 issue of Architects Journal. If anyone has a copy that they could post here that would be most appreciated.

I've scanned a copy of 'The Journeymen - Building a timber frame' by Barrie Evans which mentions Paul Russell within the text so it is probably the article you're looking for as it is from the March 1992 issue. But the file size is too large to upload to the forum and I haven't worked out yet how to send a private message..... So if you can suggest a way to forward it I'll do that.

It's a good article, especially the section about joint marking, using a plumb-line and joining twisted timbers, all of which I've seen done at a demonstration but not seen in print before.
