Weekend workshop February 3rd, 2018

I will be teaching a "fit up" workshop on Saturday February 3rd, 2018 here at my sawmill yard in Georgetown, MA. Yard address is 117R Jewett Street.

We will be fitting up posts, tie beams and braces, long walls, plates, and braces as well as drop in floor joists and tie beam for a 12' x 16' frame.

If time permits we may also so some rafter to plate line up.

Here you will see how it all goes together in preparation for a raising.
You should come and learn about assembling a timber frame.

This is a free workshop for all who attend. Lunch will be provided by the customer who will be present.

Weather is suppose to be clear and cool so dress accordingly.
Start time is 8am and we'll go until dark. You can come in most anytime and leave when you have to.
