I have access to about 50 or 60 sweet gum logs
and was wondering if anyone has tried gum for
frames. I know it is a wood that is
hard to air dry. My friend is clearing land and
is just planning on pushing them down and burning
them. They are very straight and free of knots.
I have a sawmill and I sawed 2 logs up in to cants
and the wood is very nice.
