A door I have recently made for in the barn.

Two things of relevance: The door fits in its jamb as an independent unit. The wood is poplar.

Hi,

"Cruck Building - A Survey" covers the proceeds of the 2017 cruck conference held at Oxford University. The proceedes have now been published by Shaun Tyas, Donnington, Lincolnshire, UK. This book (406pp colour h. back) covers the themes arising from the study weekend. It contains 15 illustrated chapters by different authors on cruck buildings in the UK (and mainland Europe) providing an update on cruck construction in Britain. This book costs £50 (Amazon / EBay) however UK members of VAG can obtain same at the discounted price of £35 inc. postage direct from Shaun Tyas.

Looking back to see the way ahead !
