NWDB Survey 2000 launches NWDB e-list discussion site

You are invited to join an electronic discussion group entitled “Speaking Of New World Dutch Barns”. The object of the group is to provide a forum for open discussions that will help create public awareness of this type of structure and its plight in North America. If you have friends interested in this type of barn or any barn tell them about this site.

You can bring up for discussion on this e-list any thing that has to do with NWDBs, no matter what form or style as found in North America. If your interest is in the architecture of the barns, OK. If your interest is in the history of the barns, OK. If your interest is in “true form only” NWDBs, that is OK also. We’re open to any discussion regarding this type of barn. Got an interesting fact or piece of trivia on NWDBs, this is the place to toss it out and see if anyone else knows about it or is interested in tossing it around. If you happen to be one of the lucky people who have just become interested in NWDBs and you have a question, ask away. Don’t worry if you think it is a dumb question and everybody else will know the answer. You would be surprised at some of the dumb questions we have all asked and some of us even after studying NWDBs for a long time.
