Hello, I've just joined the TFG but I have an extensive knowledge of timber framing and related subjects. I have a small company that dismantles barns and old structures here in Eastern Ontario; up until the summer of 2001, I sold most of the salvaged wood to clients in Conn., Mass., Vermont and Pennsylvania. Lately, I've working at renovating homes, but I do take apart the occasional barn frame.. However what I did do was to save the best barn frame and materials for my own home (someday) It's occured to me that it may be a couple more years before I could build on my property, so I've decided to offer my barn frame for sale . The frame is 28' X 40', four bent, three bay barn of eastern white pine, posts and beams are 10" x10" and are very nicely handhewn with a lovely honey brown colour. asking price is $15,000. U.S. If your interested please call, I will provide much more info. call me at 613-229-7548 or send me an e-mail at naturalhousebuilder@sympatico.ca thanks
