Does anyone have recommendations for an expert who can evaluate an old barn in Kansas (Lawrence, Topeka, Emporia, Kansas City area)? I have an oldish barn, not sure of age, that needs structural repair that I would like to keep if possible as it adds character to the property. Thanks.

You could look in the resource guide for someone in your area that does restorations. You can find the resource guide link on the home page of the guild; it's on the top right hand side, the icon looks like a light bulb. Follow the links to the search page and then enter "restoration" and using the pull down arrow select services, then click the "submit query" button. The resource guide will then show you all the companies listed, and you can sort through them until you find one near your area. Good luck with your repairs. Jim
