OP Birdy Member B Joined: Oct 1999 Posts: 1 Hampden, MA, USA	I have been contacted about the repair of a historical windmill in Water mill, NY. I am interested in finding out what species of wood would be best. Specifically the hub that holds the blades needs to be remanufactured. It is about 16" in diameter and about 16' long.
