My son is 18-years old and will be in Wales for a while – starting June 21st. He is looking for an entry-level job with a carpentry or timber framing business over in Europe – doesn’t really matter where.

He is an experienced carpenter’s assistant; has worked in a fully loaded furniture maker’s workshop; and has attended a couple of guild barn raisings.

He’s a hard working young man and I believe he would be an asset for any outfit. He needs to get paid, of course, but he has no bills – ah, remember those days? – and just needs enough to get by.

If you know of any opportunities, I would appreciate it if you would forward information to me.

Thanks

Jim

There is another timber framing organization in UK.
Here is a link to their forum.
Carpenter Fellowship link

You may find some info there or you could make another post there...

Good luck.
