I would like very much to lift our barn in Princeton, Maine. We tried this last year and found a 'timber framer' who promised the earth then ran off with some money, never to be heard of again!! mad mad Live and learn I guess!! We are way up in the boonies. Large mother of a barn! Gabled. Losing its corners to rot. Still on the original flag stone. Any suggestions of skilled persons that might be willing to tackle?? laugh
Cheers
Trevor

It wouldn't happed to be a stand alone frame, would it?
If it is, got pictures?
(Purely curious to satisfy an interest in another thread...I can't help you; not only would I not have a clue as to how to start, but I'm kitty-corner across the continent from you)
Good Luck! smile
