I'm interested in having built an american-style timber frame house - about 1500 square feet - here in Denmark.

Many US companies routinely ship their products internationally. Perhaps if you post your request in our "Looking For the Perfect Timber Framer" forum you will receive a reply from one.

Thanks...I've done as you have advised...however, I was hoping to get some informed independent views about who to approach. There are a lot of companies out there and I'd guess that standards probably vary quite a lot.

It would also be great to learn of someone who has imported an American-style timber frame house to Denmark...a lovely place but also known for it's ability to tax and regulate just about everything...it would be good to know the potential hurdles in advance.
