You might start with "Build a Classic Timber-Framed House" bu Jack A. Sobon.
There is another I have read but I cant remember the name at the moment. Has a black cover and has something about timber framing in the title. The author is a former Professor at a major University who quit to become a Timber-Framing Apprentice in Vermont or New Hampshire. The guild should have a recommended reading list. Check with them and see what they recommend. Most of these can be gotten from the Library, but I prefer to purchase mine so I can have them in my library to refer back to from time to time as I am learning the basic house framing with timbers too. I have built many Stick Framed houses with Timber framed roofs, but never a whole house with timber framing.
