I am just beginning the process of working with an engineer on a timber frame project. I have the drawings and design work pretty much done. I need him to check the structural integrity of the building and need to find some specifications for wood tables, spans, deflection etc. and especially for traditional joint connections. This is going to be a learning process for this engineer, and the local building authorities, (me too) but I have to have the stamp of an engineer to proceed with this project. I am located in Alberta, Canada.
Thanks,
Jeff
