I have a ten year old hybred Timberframe home. The beams seem dry and have a little paint on them in places. They were originally finished with a penetrating oil, but I don't know exactly what product was used and the timberframe company I used is out of business now. My questions are 1) how do I remove the paint from the beams, and 2) what product should I use to recondition the wood?
