Sounds like Bigfoot is a good value. The only step up I am aware of are European...which are a mjor step up in price!

Freud makes an excellent blade for the 10 1/4" Bigfoot

This blade really improves the performance of the saw

I've used a diablo for my 7 inch saw and found them to be good blades, but a bit thin and disposable.. will try the 10 1/4 for sure.

Hi Folks...

I broke down and ordered a Big Foot yesterday. It is a new "all magnesium" model. Supposed to weigh about 2.5 pounds less and has some new design.

I ordered one of the Diablo blades from Amazom.com $31.62 with free shipping.

Also found a blade by Matsushita. MSTN101436AK
Have not been able to find out where one can be purchased.

I'll make several cuts with the new Big Foot and Diablo blades and post what I find out.
