After a brief eBay frenzy I'm the proud owner of a black and gold (apparently original) Boss boring machine manufactured by J. H. Osborne & Co. Prior to this I'd only seen the Buckeye machines and a rather plain model (manufacturer unknown) so I thought I'd find out more about the history of my machine. My initial investigation has discovered four companies each listed as sole manufacturer during the period they made The Boss.

Can anyone put these companies in chronological order for me?
