The bandsaw is not the right tool for that particular job. way too heavy and awkward for simple small BM's

You need a circ saw that tilts to 60 deg and you can cut them as mo said -- on their backs. That is the only efficient way, whether you gang them or cut them individually.

This company (http://www.bigfootsaws.com/index.html) sells swing tables for skil and bosch wormdrive saws that tilt to 75 deg. If you need more depth, get their bigfoot kit and a swing table.

I would budget 10 min each for those and I would get the swing table instead of the bandsaw.
