I have three Norton 8"X3" water stones, 1000, 4000, 8000 grits. I bought them 2 years ago. I tried them out with a 1 inch wood chisel, to see how they worked (wet of course). There is no appreciable wear from where I tried out one side of these stones with that small chisel(shown in pic), the other side is untouched. They are dry now and have not been frozen. I will wrap them well(insulate) for shipping. New cost today is $27 each. I'm hoping to get half that? I will donate the purchase price to the guild. Shipping via USPS priority. Thanks, Brad
