Yes, you can.

You would approach this almost the same way you would for stick framing, almost.

First you need structual beams on all exterior walls, a structual ridge beam and depending on the span you might have to add another one along the span of the rafters( maybe 2/3 up or so).
Those beams now would sit on posts that will transfer your loads down towards the foundation. Don't forget the braces. The rafters have a seat cut and are fastened to the beams. Same is true for your valley rafters. Also you will need rafter ties so the roof will not push outwards. This design will put almost no stress on the valleys at all since they are resting on the structual beams.
