If you are a member of the guild, you can go to the members only section and do a search of timber framers for that area. Hopefully you will find someone nearby looking for someone part time.
Or you could contact the timber framers business council and see if they can help you to find a company nearby.
Another way would be to post your availability in the monthly newsletter: "Scantlings".
